Cal Poly Pomona Prospective Student Tour

Please Note: Beginning January 28, 2019 Tour Check In will be located at the Student Services Building East, 121 First Floor Visitor Center.


Caltrans Kellogg Drive Closure (I-10 West on-ramp closure)
Starting May 6, 2019, Caltrans will be closing the I-10 westbound San Bernardino Freeway (I-10) on-ramp for approximately 90 days. The alternate recommended route is to take Ridgeway to get to the Westbound I-10 Freeway. For more information on Caltrans closure visit CPP Compass or watch the video below.

The tour begins at the Student Services Building, East #121 1st Floor Visitor Center. During the 90-minute walking tour, your tour guide(s) will highlight the location of programs and services, give your group insight into what it is like to be a Cal Poly Pomona student and share with your some of Cal Poly Pomona’s unique features. Plus, as part of your 90-minute tour, tour groups will get to go inside and see our Freshmen Residence Hall first-hand!

Cal Poly Pomona is located at 3801 W. Temple Ave. in the city of Pomona; located just south of the 10 freeway and west of the 57 freeway. Please park in Parking Structure #1 located on W. Temple Ave. and S. University Dr.

Beginning January 28, 2019 Tour Check-In will be located at the Student Services Building, East #121 1st Floor Visitor Center.


If traveling by vehicle, your daily parking pass can be purchased for $8.00 from the Visitor Information Booth located off Oak Lane and Palm Drive, near the campus' northeast parking garage. From here the parking attendant can direct you where to park vehicle. (You may also buy a parking pass from any of the yellow machines located in the parking lots.)

NOTE: Southern California traffic and campus parking tends to be a bit unpredictable and there is also construction on campus. It is advised that you plan to arrive at least 20 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time to thwart any unforeseen delays.
