You're invited to Cal Poly's Open House April 6 - 8, 2017. This annual event welcomes new students, their families, Cal Poly alumni, and the San Luis Obispo community a glimpse into life as a Mustang.
Please Only Register for one College.
Open House weekend begins with Club Preview Night at Farmers’ Market on Thursday, April 6 from 6PM – 9PM. Explore downtown and experience San Luis Obispo world-famous Farmers' Market.
The weekend continues on April 7 for Admitted Students' Preview Day. Admitted students kick off Friday with a University Welcome you will hear from campus leaders, first-year students, and faculty about their Mustang Legacies. Continue throughout the day experiencing Cal Poly’s “Learn by Doing” philosophy through sessions from your academic college and interactive classrooms and experiences. In the evening, we invite you to engage with other prospective students as well as current Cal Poly students at Friday Nite Invite. Additionally, parents and supporters are invited to join New Student & Transition Programs for Coffee House in learning about what’s next for new students on their Cal Poly journey.
Finally, join us Saturday, April 8, as the entire Mustang community comes to campus to Celebrate the Mustang Legacy for “Poly Royal Celebration”. Festivities start with the Poly Royal Parade and continue all day with the Campus Showcase, featuring over 200 clubs and organizations, Poly Royal Main Stage, and more premier special events including:
-Truck & Tractor Pull
-The Poly Royal Rodeo - being held for the first time in Alex Spanos Stadium.
-Alumni Wine and Beer Garden (open to all 21 and over) - hosted by the College of Engineering, Orfalea College of Business and the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences and open to all majors.
