Learn to decorate beautiful cakes just in time for the holidays with certified cake decorator Janet Holland! Cake Decorating 101 is designed to introduce you to the Wilton method of cake decorating, basic buttercream piping techniques, icing with buttercream, tinting icing, using a decorating bag, plus a variety of cake decorating tips & techniques.
All students must bring the following supplies:
Small metal spatula or dinner knife
Disposable cloth or paper towels
Small bottle of water (squeeze bottle recommended 2 or 3 small cups or bowls for mixing icing, 12 cups capacity each)
Damp cloth in plastic bag for cleanup
Small (6 - 10 inch) round cake, un-iced Container to transport iced cake
