Event Overview: CAHME is hosting the Spring 2018 Accreditation Bootcamp in conjunction with the ACHE Congress on Healthcare Leadership on March 25, 2018.

CAHME's Accreditation Boot camp is designed with a special focus on competency-based education related to CAHME's accreditation criteria to help you prepare for the accreditation process.

Discussion on the new 2017 accreditation criteria will be held to ensure programs fully understand and comply with the new criteria.

This in-person accreditation boot camp will be engaging, interactive, and will offer participants a variety of tools, technical instructions and hands-on practice.

Registration for Bootcamp also includes your ticket for the CAHME Awards Luncheon (12-2 PM CT) which is also hosted on March 25th in conjunction with the ACHE Congress. You will get a chance to meet and learn more about the Programs that foster innovation and excellence in teaching to advance the quality of healthcare management profession through education.

    Learning Objectives: You will come away from this in-person session with a better understanding of the CAHME accreditation process, along with knowledge and an understanding of how to:

    1. Implement or refine statements of mission and vision that guide program design and assessment with a particular focus on competency based education;

    2. Design teaching and assessment tools aligned with competency-based education; and

    3. Prepare for a self-assessment and site visit focused on the program's mission and competency model.


    The Boot Camp has been revamped this year to include suggestions from prior boot camps, including:

    1. Access to exclusive web content prior to the boot camp for preparation for dicussion and in class work

    2. More group work during the boot camps.

    3. Aligning attendee interests to focus on experienced programs going for re-accreditation, new programs approaching accreditation for the first time, and attendees who need a refresher on accreditation standards.
