Description
"Identity Crisis: Stories we tell ourselves about ourselves"
Designer/developer Grant Blakeman, will give a personal and insightful look into “identity” and how it is a “thing” we take on and that others put onto us. Why it contains things we want and things we don’t like about ourselves. Ultimately, Grant will discuss how it affects how we as creatives, makers, whatever we are, view the world and the need to be aware of the identities we take on for ourselves and others, and because it has an impact on the way we move through the world and the work we end up producing.
This event is for all creative types and will be a 20-30 min talk, followed by 10-15 min Q&A session, moderated by Jay Ferracane of Angry Bovine.
As usual, coffee and breakfast snacks will be provided.
