How to Play Bluegrass Solos on Guitar / $165

Refine your guitar skills in Bluegrass music! This workshop will focus on developing solid timing to create beautiful solos based in the melody of some of your bluegrass jam favorites. How to create and manipulate bass runs to get you from one chord to another, and an introduce improvising off of basic melodies of songs and fiddle tunes.

We'll be using direct examples from recordings and common repertoire. Supplementary tabs and diagrams will be distributed each week along with listening examples.

Pre-requisites: Be comfortable playing these open chords: C, G, D, A, E, D minor, A minor, E minor. Know the names of the strings (E A D G B e from lowest to highest pitch)

Time: The course will take place online Tuesdays 7:00pm - 8:15pm

Dates: June , 14, 21, 28 and July 5

The workshop will be taught on the Zoom internet platform. Instructions for accessing the online course will be sent to you by email 24 hours before class begins.

Each class session is recorded and archived for review and practice. You videos are yours forever and a day.
