The scene is the Kit Kat Klub, a night club in Berlin, as the 1920s are drawing to a close. The Master of Ceremonies welcomes the audience to the show and assures them that, whatever their troubles, they will forget them at the Cabaret.
The lives of Cliff Bradshaw, a young, impoverished American writer, Sally Bowles, a pretty English girl, Ernst Ludwig, a shady Berliner, Frauleins Schneider and Kost, Herr Schultz, the Emcee and the Kit Kat girls all become entwined in sinister ways that parallel the dark days descending on Germany.
From Willkommen to Don't Tell Mama to Tomorrow Belongs to Me, all the songs from the 1998 Broadway version of Cabaret will transport you to a fascinating time and place.... Come.... forget your troubles at Cabaret.
