ABSTRACT

This session will be focused on how collaboration with the private sector, and other sectors, provides ever-growing opportunity to deliver innovative solutions to cities’ key climate challenges. This session is loosely based on a successful C40 programme called the City Solutions Platform (hereafter CSP). Leading cities around the world are searching for innovative and scalable solutions to the major climate challenges they face. Since many cities face challenges when working directly with the private sector, the main objective of the CSP and the micro session presented here is to accelerate the development of replicable and implementable climate solutions, thereby supporting cities to take climate action, by facilitating the early engagement between cities and solution providers.
