Course work will include, the refrigeration cycle, a review of basic system components, a discussion on Refrigerants touching on EPA 608. A basic review of Psychrometrics, how conditions are affected by latent and sensible heat. Along with a short introduction to building automation Systems. Upon completion of this course, students should be able to describe the basic refrigeration cycle, fundamental psychometric analysis, and the elements of a building automation system.
The class will start at 9:00 AM and end at 4:00 PM. Lunch is included.
