Description

Save the Date! We are working hard to plan a special day of learning and networking - and it's free!

Special thanks to last year's sponsors, Entergy and Exxon, for supporting our work to help LD students.

We honored to dedicate this free conference to Christopher Austin who was tragically killed at age 20. His learning disabilities did not stop him from achieving success as a creative college student with plans to become a screen writer. A talented singer/song. writer, he loved to sing the blues and he had plans for a bright future. He was passionate about helping other students with learning disabilities follow their dreams and he knew how valuable people like you are to LD kids.

We provide free 6.0 CEU hours to educators, parents and foster parents and $25 CEU's to counselors, social workers and SLPs. Payment at the door: cash, credit or check

Catered hot lunch available for purchase: $10

For a listing of past presentations, please go to www.ldhelp.org.

We are grateful to last year's volunteer presenters who represented the following community resources: Louisiana State University, Southeastern University, Nicholls State University, Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital, Baton Rouge Clinic, Neurotherapy Center of Louisiana, McMains Developmental Center, Louisiana Branch of the International Dyslexia Center, Louisiana Career Counseling Association, Louisiana Counseling Association, Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services, Dynamic Therapy Specialists, Legacy Behavioral Health, Families Helping Families, LA Key Academy, University View Academy, Brighton School and Cornerstone Educational Consulting
