DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY
EMPLOYEE SPEAKER RELEASE

The Department of Homeland Security hereby grants only to the Otay Mesa Chamber of Commerce (hereinafter "Entity") permission to photograph or record, by videotape, audiotape, or otherwise, remarks made at the CTPAT 2019 & 2020 Changes webinar, held on January 2019 (hereinafter "Event"), and to use all or part of such photographs or recordings in any manner, including copying, transcribing, displaying, broadcasting (including webcasting), or performing it, for promoting or providing information about the Event.

 

Permission is granted to publish and release any written presentation(s) given during the Event and to use the photograph(s), name(s), likeness and voice(s) of the participating CBP personnel in connection with the Event, including promotion of the Event. Any use of these images or likeness outside the scope of this Release shall be subject to the prior written consent of the Department of Homeland Security. All credit for the likeness of the participating CBP personnel should be attributed to "The United States Department of Homeland Security."

The broadcasting or publishing of any photograph, remarks, written presentation, voice or likeness of the participating CBP personnel, whether contemporaneous, shown in its entirety, or a modification of an original presentation, shall not be used by Entity for fundraising purposes, partisan political activity, or to imply a direct endorsement of Entity by the Department of Homeland Security or the United States Government.

 

The permission granted to Entity shall not affect, limit, or waive the rights of the U.S. Government to use any videotape, audiotape, or other recording of any remarks or presentations, or likeness of the participating CBP personnel for any purposes to which it is entitled by virtue of the fact that the participating CBP personnel are officers and employees of the United States Government. Any rights to their recorded voices and images or written presentations which may be asserted outside of the United States vest in the United States Government as their employer.
