Clive Staples Lewis, commonly known as C.S. Lewis, was a novelist, poet, academic, literary critic, essayist, theologian, and world-renowned lecturer. He was one of the intellectual giants of the 20th century. Course explores the Irish author, his nonfictional work about Christianity, the first book in his fantasy series, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and his other literary works. An optional feature includes a visit to Wheaton College's Wade Center, an internationally acclaimed archive of works and artifacts related to C.S. Lewis and his contemporaries.
