Did you play in the Birmingham Youth Jazz Ensemble (BYJE) between 1994 and 2005?

This is your official registration to join the BYJE Alumni Band and attend the Jothan Callins Jazz Legacy Celebration: Winds of Change, a tribute weekend honoring trumpeter, educator, and mentor Jothan McKinley Callins at the Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame in Birmingham, Alabama.

• Former members of the Birmingham Youth Jazz Ensemble (BYJE)
• Supporters of the Birmingham Youth Jazz Ensemble
• Approximate BYJE years: 1994–2005
• Alumni who want to perform in the BYJE Alumni Concert, attend the weekend events, or both

HOW BYJE ALUMNI WILL PARTICIPATE
As an alum, you may:

• Perform in the BYJE Alumni Band during the Sunday concert
• Attend the meet-and-greet, banquet, and tribute concert
• Share your photos, recordings, and memories from your BYJE years

After you register, we will follow up with rehearsal details, music, and logistics. Registration here is your commitment to attend and your first step in confirming your role.
