BVSJ GALA ON THE SEA 2017
Event Information
Description
Greetings,
Black Veterans For Social Justice cordially invites you to attend its Gala On The Sea Harlem Renaissance Black Tie Affair aboard the beautiful Cornucopia Majesty for an evening of elegance and celebration on Saturday, July 29, 2017.
BVSJ continues its frontline commitment to active/inactive military personnel, their families and the community at large (accessing medical care, food pantry, housing, employment, socialization, or simply phoning a loved one overseas). On a yearly basis, BVSJ assists thousands of “Veterans” with myriad difficulties that arise from transitioning from military to civilian life, and we do it by providing social services support with “tender loving care and a listening ear". Unfortunately, many of the needed services are not covered by the city, state and federal funding so events such as our Gala On the Sea are essential to provide non-restrictive material support.
We are asking for your support for Black Veterans For Social Justice (BVSJ), Inc., by purchasing tickets to attend the Gala or an Ad in our 38th Anniversary Commemorative Virtual Journal. The Journal will be distributed at the 2017 Gala On The Sea and thereafter. Should you not be able to attend can you be so kind to donate a ticket for a Veteran to attend?
All tickets that are purchased are 100% tax-deductible, and the funds raised will be used to assist BVSJ to provide a continuum of quality services to Veterans, their families, and the community.
Sincerely,
Wendy McClinton
