Buzzard Day's 30th Anniversary!
Are you ready for Montana's Toughest 10k Run, 5k Run, and Disc Golf Tournament? Register now! 10k & 5k race participants that register before May 17th are guaranteed a free Buzzard Day t-shirt. Please enter size when registering. Trophies and gift certificates to the 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners in both the 10k & 5k men's and women's divisions. Buzzard Day medals to all race participants (including fun run) until gone.
Additional t-shirts are available to purchase for $15. You must pre-order by May 17th.
Disc Golf Players: First 30 registered players receive a free custom disc. You will play two rounds of nine holes. Starts at 8:00 am with last signup at 10:00 am.
Friday, June 7th Events: Early registration is located at the Kiwanis Pavillion (visitor center if weather is bad)
- 5:00-7:00 pm Run/walk/disc golf early registration and swag bag pickup. Runners can pick up their bags/bibs at this time or Saturday morning
- Saturday, June 8th Events: All events start at Kiwanis Pavillion unless otherwise noted
- 7:00 am Free Bluebird talk & hike. Meet at Shelter
- 7:30 am Registration
- 7:55 am Lakota Women Warrior Flag Presentation with Bad Bear Drummers
- 8:00 am 10k & 5k races start
- 8:00 am Disc Golf tournament starts
- 8:00 am Archery, Atlatl, and Maxx's Native American History Artifacts open, U of M mascot Monte and Smokey the Bear will be present
- 9:00 am - 6:00 pm Scavenger Hunt (with clue given every hour)
- 10:00 am Zoo Montana at the Shelter with Lurch the Turkey Vulture
- 10:00 am Kids Fun Run
- 10:00 am - 2:00 pm Dunking Booth
- 10:00 am - 6:00 pm Bouncy House Obstacle Course
- 10:30 am Dr. John Scannella- Museum of the Rockies Paleo Hike
- 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm Corn hole tournament, music, and Cross Country Brewing
- 6:00 pm Freewill donation dinner and awards handed out
- 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm Lakota Sioux Bad Bear Drummers & Dancers
- 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm Mystery Trail Hike
- 9:00 pm Free showing of "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom" at the Hiatt Amphitheater
