A study we read about stress years ago reported that buying and selling a home at the same time is 100 points on your stress scale (out of 100) or equivalent to the death of a partner. (By comparison getting a new pet, or a new job, or having an in-law move in, were significantly lower.)

It doesn’t have to be that way. When you understand the process, have a good handle on what happens next and have the resources and guidance to navigate all of the steps, moving to your new home doesn’t have to be horrific.
