Butterfly Rescue Habitats
Event Information
Description
It’s a beautiful summer morning, you are out enjoying your garden surrounded by the flutter of butterflies visiting every flower you have meticulously planted. They are enjoying your handy work and you are supporting them and their journey. Sound like a dream? Well, Phelan Gardens very own Andrew Cronk would like to educate you on the life cycle of these flying flowers, why they are important to our environment, and how to attract more of them to your own patch of heaven. He will be focusing on the native species and the host/nectar plants that entice them to reproduce; as well as showing some of his collected specimens from around the world. Plus a little bonus on some native under appreciated pollinators!
