About this event
The Butte County Firefighters Benevolent Foundation will be serving a delicious dinner featuring salad, baked potato, dessert, and of course CRAB! Beer and wine will be available to adults 21 and over. Not only will there be food but we'll also have a raffle and silent auction to help raise money for the foundation. Bring the family and support a great cause!

How Are Donations Used?
The purpose of the Foundation is to:
- Provide financial assistance to the families of its members in case of death, disability or serious injury/illness
- Provide limited financial assistance to citizens of Butte County directly impacted by emergencies and/or events
- Provide financial support to established nonprofit organizations (such as Burn Centers, Children Cancer Camps, etc.)
- Provide limited financial support to community events that impact the membership
More Information
Every season, the number of members fluctuates but the Butte County Firefighters Benevolent Foundation provides assistance to over 300 families annually. During the summer, the foundation supports 338 Uniformed Personnel and 98 On-Duty Strength Firefighters. During the winter, the Foundation assists 240 Uniformed Personnel. In addition to the seasonal employees, the Butte County Firefighters Benevolent Foundation also endorses 19 Department Chiefs, 16 Civilian Personnel and 168 County Volunteers each year.
The Foundation annually contributes to non-profit organizations such as the Butte County Fire Explorers, Firefighter Cancer Support Network, Camp Okizu, the Shriners Children’s Hospital, and various burn camps, to mention a few. The Foundation has been very active with supporting the needs of members, allied agency personnel (local law enforcement and other agency firefighters) as well as our Butte County residents.
