Description

For the first time ever, the United States has been invited to compete in the World Butchers’ Challenge. The event will take place in Belfast, Ireland from the 20th to the 22nd of March 2018.

Leading up to this historic event, the only place that will host all of the American competitors is Taylor’s Kitchen in Sacramento. Danny Johnson, the team captain and co-owner of Taylor’s Market and Taylor’s Kitchen, and Team U.S.A. butchers are hosting a cocktail party featuring Taylor’s Kitchen chef Casey Shideler’s hors d'ouevres, wine and beer, a butcher demonstration and live auction on Monday, November 6th.

There are only 60 tickets available. All of the proceeds will provide travel expenses for the American butchers, as well entry fees and lodging. The tickets cost $100 per person. You will have the opportunity to meet with today’s best American butchers and ask any questions you have.
