Tue, March 21, 2017, 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM GMT
Innovate UK and the Welsh Opto-electronics Forum are pleased to announce details of a Business Support Workshop for companies interested in hearing about finance strategies for SMEs from Finance Wales and Xenos Business Angels.
Graphene -If you've ever drawn with a pencil, you've probably made graphene. The world's thinnest material is set to revolutionise almost every part of everyday life.
Fascination with this material stems from its remarkable physical properties and the potential applications these properties offer for the future. Although scientists knew one atom thick, two-dimensional crystal graphene existed, no-one had worked out how to extract it from graphite'.
James will talk about Graphene the Route to commercialisation and Philip on Perspective on 2D materials including graphene for the opto-electronics industry.’
