Event description

Description

Source of income discrimination continues to be one of the top issues cited in housing complaints received by the DC Office of Human Rights, DC's civil rights enforcement agency. Join us for an overview of DC's extensive fair housing laws and an in-depth discussion on source of income protections, including best practices around minimum income requirements, short- and long-term subsidies, emergency assistance, and more. This training is intended for DC housing providers, leasing managers, realtors, rental managers, and landlords.

RSVP is required. Please be advised that food and drink (besides water) are not allowed in the training rooms. To request a reasonable accommodation or interpretation, please email teresa.rainey@dc.gov or call (202) 727-5343 at least 7 calendar days before the training date.
