BUSINESS STORY TELLING

Why do we learn and listen more effectively when stories are told to us? They can be devoid of facts and figures, yet they resonate, connect and drive us to action. Open with a powerful evocative story and you have your audience hooked. The chemicals in their brains want more. Despite all our technological advances, storytelling still remains one of the most effective methods of communication known to us. It is part of who we are and storytelling is hardwired into all of us.

“Over the years, I have become convinced that we learn best -and change-from hearing stories that strike a chord within us…Those in leadership positions who fail to grasp or use the power of stories risk failure for their companies and for themselves”

Dr John Kotter I Professor of Leadership Emeritus I Harvard Business School

VIBRANT AND MEMORABLE

For every great story out there, there seems to be a dozen bad ones. If you want to stand out and tell a better business story to present yourself, your company and / or your product in a vibrant and memorable way, then this one day highly practical workshop is for you. We will not be telling. We will be showing ...and you will be doing. You will receive expert feedback along the way and clear steps on how to craft your story. With our simple yet effective template you will be armed with the confidence to give it a go yourself.

This workshop will be presented by Janine de Muinck, Corporate Actor at InterACT WA and Lloyd D'Castro, Psychologist at Working Life Consultants and it is a perfect introduction to storytelling or for crafting new stories as a true professional.
