Description

Invitation to Participate in GAO Business Roundtable on Vocational Rehabilitation :

The United States Government Accountability Office (GAO) is a nonpartisan legislative branch agency that conducts research for Congress. They produce reports to Congress and federal agencies, which may include recommendations for improving federal programs.

At Congressional request, they are studying how the California Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) is engaging with and meeting the needs of businesses.

As part of our study, they are collecting input from businesses that have received DOR services. They are interested in learning why businesses chose to use DOR services, whether DOR services are meeting businesses’ needs, and how DOR services could be improved.

We would greatly appreciate your participation in an upcoming GAO discussion group in Oakland, California. This discussion will take place on February 8, 2018 at California Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) at 1515 Clay St. Oakland.

In GAO's report to Congress, they will present the themes and findings from our discussion at an aggregate level and will not identify any of the businesses or individuals.
