This Business Law CLE is designed as a primer for new attorneys and a refresher for experienced attorneys on often neglected precepts of contract drafting. Topics covered include (i) a contract law primer; (ii) both basic and advanced contract-drafting concepts; (iii) the critical role of so-called “boilerplate provisions;” and (iv) special considerations that apply when drafting third-party opinion letters. Speakers will cover both common drafting errors and helpful practice pointers, all illustrated through sample clauses and case examples. For a complete agenda please visit the Drake Law website .
