Event description

Description

Applied Business Ethics

In this workshop students will confront a series of ethical problems in real case studies. Participants will imagine themselves as agents with specific roles, and will be given the task of treating ethical problems, while attending carefully to the challenging conditions of the case. Concepts, rules and guidelines for how to identify and evaluate moral problems (e.g., the Certified Financial Analyst Institute’s code of ethics) will be provided, examined and applied. Goals of the workshop include 1) creating a forum in which participants realistically confront difficult ethical problems 2) examination and reflection on core values and beliefs that influence thinking about ethics and 3) learning concepts, rules and guidelines to aid in the treatment of ethical problems.
