This expedition is a jungle trip into the Amazon, near the borders of Colombia, Brazil, and Peru. The tribesmen include a representative from the Matis indians in Brazil, first contacted in the late 1970s. They travel over 5 days on a small boat just to share their ritch culture. The tribesmen also include Alberto, a Yukuna indian who is an outstanding hunter and outdoorsmen.
Particpants will learn how to hang hammocks, make baskets, hunt fish with machetes, hunt with blowguns, make bows for fishing and hunting, trap, make hammocks and other items from resources out in the amazon rain forest and learn how to apply these skills back home.
