Bush Kindergarten is a program developed and designed to complement your child's existing kindergarten and/or care. The program is primarily designed for children aged 4 years and above. Children who have turned 3 by 30 April 2016 can also register for the program. Younger siblings under 3 years old are welcome to attend the session.
Enrolling in our Bush Kindergarten session offers your child the chance to experience:
a holistic curriculum and ecological literacy program developed and delivered by highly qualified and experienced professionals
outdoor learning that responds to current Australian standards, Early Years curriculum and Government educational goals
For this session children will explore wetlands, frogs and waterbugs. They will also enjoy playing in nature and socialising with their peers.
If you decide to take responsibility for another child aged between 3 and 5 years old but they are not part of your family, they still require a separate registration. In addition to this, a participation form with both parents' signature will be required to demonstrate all parties are in agreement with the care of each child for the session.
Enter Karkarook Park from Fairchild Street, off Warrigal Road. Park in FIRST car park. Meet at information board we will walk into the wetlands area from there. Toilets are available at the meeting point, next to car park and Information Board.
