Join us for an afternoon bushwalk for a fascinating insight into the bush-tucker of Smiths Creek Reserve.

About this Event

Campbelltown Council in partnership with Smiths Creek Reserve Bushcare Group will be hosting a Bush-tucker walk at Smiths Creek Reserve, Ruse.

Join us for a wander via the forests & creeks of Smiths Creek Reserve looking for the Bush-tucker plants traditionally utilised by the Dharawal people of the region. We will learn how to identify the plants, find out about their uses and significance & learn how the Dharawhal people managed the land

Walking grade: Grade 2: Easy-Moderate

Participants are advised to arrive approximately 10 minutes before the start time meeting.

Please wear long pants, sturdy shoes and seasonally appropriate clothing and bring a bottle of water, and if you have them, camera and binoculars to help you get the best out of your wildlife spotting
