Event description
Join Reservoir Distillery at Dover Hall for a very Virginia celebration of the life and poetry of Scotland's national bard, Robert Burns.

About this Event

Join Reservoir Distillery at Dover Hall on January 26th for Burn’s Night: a very Virginia twist on a Scottish tradition. This evening of revelry, incredible food and lots of spirits has been held annually around the world to honor poet Robert Burns for more than 200 years.

For this special evening, Reservoir Distillery has teamed up with Dover Hall's Executive Chef Lee Hendrickson, internationally renowned Scottish purveyor Lochlander Salmon, Richmond's Ardent Craft Ales and Upper Shirley Vineyards to create a four course menu that both highlights seasonal, local produce and pays respects to classical Scottish dishes. Reservoir founders Dave Cuttino and Jay Carpenter will be in attendance with Ardent brewmaster Chris Rommel to present the whiskey and beer pairings. With support from Va. Tourism and VDACS honored guests such as the Virginia Secretary of Agriculture Bettina Ring will deliver short humorous readings and toasts.

If you’ve never attended a Burn’s Night celebration, you won’t want to miss this!
