Description

Join us for a friendly celebration of all things Scottish at the St. Andrew's Society of Minnesota's 43rd Annual Burns Night Dinner.

This event is celebrated all over the world every January, to commemmorate the birth of Scotland's favorite poet, Robert Burns. We'll enjoy the traditional Address to a Haggis, and raise our glasses to to the lads & lassies.

This event is a silent auction fundraiser for the St. Andrew's Society of Minnesota's Scholarship Fund, which supports educational enrichment opportunities for all aspects of Scottish culture.

Donations are grciously welcomed, and can be brought to the event. For more information on donations, please contact Liz Kincaid.

Dinner includes whisky or sparkling cider toasts, rolls and butter, coffee/tea/water, and a selection of desserts, and:

An appetizer course of haggis, neeps & tatties

Salad course of field greens, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, candied pecans, red onion, and shaved parmesan with a poppyseed dressing

Entree options (all are gluten-free):

Stuffed chicken breast with white and wild rice, candied pecan, and cranberry with a house made plum chutney

Beef tenderloin, Dijon/peppercorn-crusted with a Dijon sauce

Salmon with lemon-basil sauce

Vegetarian eggplant parmesan

A cash bar is also available, and will feature a fine selection of whiskies and other libations for your enjoyment.
