Experience a celebration like nae other, and, from the comfort of yer ain couches, toast the Scotch bard in style - accompanied by host Tony Estrella, Frederick Douglass his-self, and rowdy and rollicking fellow revelers. It's Burns Nicht 2021: The Home Edition, and it's nae tae be missed.

Attendees will each receive their own hampers full of nibbles, gifts, and a few surprises to be experienced throughout the evening. You'll be treated to Burns poem recitations by Tony Estrella and Frederick Douglass, guided through an interactive tasting, shown gems from the Athenæum's renowned Burns Collection, and sorted into Scottish clans to chat with fellow partiers. Choose between a Scotch or wine tasting, and prepare your tartan best for a costume competition with a basket of prizes. Sponsors are treated to even more - including vintage glassware, a handcrafted boutonniere, and a personal tour of the library's renowned Burns Collection with tea-time goodies. Just remember! Don't open your parcels until the festivities begin...

Proceeds from this evening will directly benefit the Providence Athenæum's collections, programs, and historic home. Thank you for your support!

Lead sponsor hampers are the most extravagant of all! They serve two and include everything in sponsor boxes, plus an even larger cheese plate, a stunning floral arrangement by SEMIA Floral Design, and, scheduled at your convenience, a private tour of the Athenæum's acclaimed Burns Collection and a basket of teatime treats to take home after your trip to the library. These hampers and the arrangement will be couriered directly to your door the day of the event. Lead sponsors will also be invited to give a toast during the evening if they wish, and will be specially recognized by the night's host.
