BURNING DIRTY BAND

FACEBOOK | WEBSITE | VIDEO

The Burning Dirty Band from Winchester Va is a powerhouse of rock that has been entertaining local audiences for almost 20 years with their repertoire of captivating original music. This talented ensemble of musicians and songwriters has produced six albums of distinctly unique sounds, blending elements of classic rock, psychedelia, Americana, and punk. They also do great covers of timeless music by bands you know and love, like The Beatles, David Bowie, The Grateful Dead, The Talking Heads, and The Pixies. Their dynamic live shows are always gritty, beautiful, and fun. Go ahead. Get Dirty.

VIVA LA MUERTE

FACEBOOK | WEBSITE | VIDEO

Viva la Muerte was recently selected by YES! Weekly's readers as THE BEST ORIGINAL BAND IN THE TRIAD (Greensboro, High Point, and Winston Salem). Born as a fiddle and two guitars back in 2005. In 2012, VLM expanded their sound and launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise $10,000 for their first album, "All the Birds." Critical acclaim for "All the Birds" came from all over the country. "The album screams with creativity," said Amplifier magazine. "It's a beautiful piece of work," wrote Jeri Rowe of The Greensboro News and Record. Even David Gans of The Grateful Dead Hour took note, writing, "Very nice variety of feels and flavors here. Hearkens back to the 60s in the best possible way. Armstrong's voice brings to mind Jim Morrison but without the false menace."

Where do I park?

Bright Box is located at 15 N. Loudoun St. on the beautiful pedestrian mall in Old Town Winchester. The nearest parking is the Braddock Auto Park at 30 N Braddock St. This is about a block away from the venue. The parking garage does have several handicap parking spaces available.

Once you've parked in the garage you'll exit toward the pedestrian mall. Once you hit N. Loudoun you'll make a right and Bright Box will be on your right a few storefronts up, directly across from the Old Court House Civil War Museum

More information about the garage can be found here: https://www.winchesterva.gov/parking/garage-information

Is Bright Box handicap accessible?

Absolutely. The venue is handicap accessible and ADA compliant. The infrastructure in Old Town Winchester is friendly toward those with physical challenges or in wheelchairs. Park in one of the close-by parking garages and come to the main door at 15 N. Loudoun St. (the walking mall). We ask that you arrive when doors open, and we will be happy to escort you to a place best suited to your needs in the theater or to take you to the elevator to access the upstairs Out of the Box room.
