Thanks to the Hollywood movie "Sideways," Pinot Noir will never go on sale again in our lifetimes.  Years later, Pinot is still riding a wave of increasing interest and popularity.

This one night class will take you on a tasting tour of Pinot Noir around the world with a tasty selection of sliders -- turkey, lamb, buffalo, and more.  First we'll taste the classic almost formal red Burgundies of France (100% Pinot Noir, though many don't even know it).  Next we'll experience Italian Pinot Nero from the foothills of the Alps, Pinot from Oregon and Carneros, neck and neck to prove who makes the best in North America, and finally unexpectedly great Pinot Noir from New Zealand.   When this class is over, we'll take to the streets chanting "Pinot to the people!"

A lot of people have never been to a Boston Wine School class before, so let me tell you what to expect.

First of all, we are a guaranteed 100% snob-free zone. No matter who you are. No matter how much you know about wine. We know how to make wine interesting and interactive for everyone.
 
Classes are small — usually 15 students max — and usually start with sparkling wine, then bread, cheese, olives and antipasto. Expect to taste 6-8 specially selected wines. Weekend classes include dinner, featuring vegetarian options.
