Speaker Spotlight

Trevor Shirk, Founder and CEO of Strattex

Trevor's life has been full of service - as a former combat leader and SEM professional, his job in the US Army was "targeting." He was the guy who found where explosives and IEDs were so that his fellow brother in arms could get to and from various missions safely.

Trevor learned that it's not just about putting all your mental energy and focus into everything you do, but taking a step back and targeting the areas that need the energy and focus the most. After transitioning to civilian life, he maintained his service with targeting, but in a slightly different capacity. Now, he serves small businesses by helping them create targeted marketing campaigns to keep them not only thriving, but growing exponentially.

Rob Bingham, the Executive Director/CEO of Colorado Veterans Project

Rob Bingham is a current Aviation Officer and Black Hawk helicopter pilot in the Colorado Army National Guard. He is a Veteran of two combat deployments and a leader in the local Veteran community. He is the founder and Executive Director of the largest Veteran event-oriented nonprofit organization in the state, Colorado Veterans Project. Rob has worked in both the nonprofit sector and the corporate giving sector for over 6 years and has a passion for positively affecting his community and fellow Veterans.

One of Rob’s proudest accomplishments is the invention and continuation of the Memorial Day Run & March event in which his team raises over $100,000 and 40,000 pounds of food annually to help feed local homeless Veterans. Rob currently serves on the board of directors of multiple Veteran nonprofit organizations and volunteers his time to consult with many more.

Kristin McFarland, President of Source Marketing Group

Today, she is the President of The Source Marketing Group, LLC. She founded this agency in 2018 to turn her passion in to action and focus on helping local companies and non-profits with strategic marketing, experiential events and other creative projects.
