This course will offer an overview of Ruud’s serial communications network with an emphasis on current and new models. This class will discuss benefits for the consumer as well as those for the contractor. Ruud Inverter Technology Certification (12:30pm - 4:30pm)
This in-depth, 4-hour class will provide detailed instruction for installation, operation and troubleshooting of Ruud’s new inverter multi-stage technology and the Ruud EcoNet controller. EcoNet features enhanced dehumidification for systems in cooling mode as well as humidification while in heating mode. This new controller is simple and user friendly for both the installer and homeowner, receiving a rating of 9 out of 10 in a recent homeowner survey. The Ruud inverter system incorporates electronic expansion valves that use 500 steps of flow to match the load within the comfort zone as well as different flow rates from the inverter driven compressor. Attendees will leave with the knowledge they need to confidently install, commission and troubleshoot this advanced technology. Ruud University & NATE Continuing Education Credits.
TDLR Law (4:30pm - 5:30pm)
This is a 1 hour interactive class. A copy of the TDLR Occupations Code Chapter 1302 will be provided to from which to answer 20 questions pertaining to the Chapter 1302, after which the class will review the questions and be led through an interactive discussion for each question.
