Bullying is a pervasive issue that occurs in various settings and can target race, religion, and sexual orientation, as well as other differences. In this training, participants will gain a better understanding of why bullying happens, how to prevent it from happening, and how to address it when confronted with it in programs. Participants will learn about the characteristics of bullies and victims and the correlation between each of these roles and children’s long-term social/emotional development.
