“BULLY,” a documentary on the bullying crisis in U.S. Schools, will be shown on two consecutive Saturdays at the AMC Theatre located in Columbia Mall at 11:00 a.m., September 29, 2012 and October 6, 2012. The showing is arranged through the joint and cooperative efforts of the Trustees and Fellows of the Bar Foundation of Howard County, Maryland, County Executive Ken Ulman, the Howard County Public School System, and Choose Civility.
This movie introduces you to five American students who were relentlessly bullied at school; including two students whose tormenting ended only with their deaths. Parents and other concerned adults are encouraged to view this timely and thought provoking film. One of the revelations in the film is that children often do not tell their parents that they are experiencing bullying.
Please note, due to the sensitive nature of the film, tickets must be purchased by adults 18 and older; those younger than 18 must be accompanied by an adult to the movie.
Tickets are $4.00 until the day before each showing; just purchase online and print.
Tickets are $5.00 at the door. Sorry, we cannot take credit cards at the door.
