Understanding Substance Use/Misuse in Older Adults
Substance misuse and abuse in the older adult population is a growing issue that needs to be addressed. This one day conference is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills, and competencies of all workforce disciplines in screening and responding to older adults whose substance use/misuse is putting them at risk. The goal of the workshop is to educate providers, including social workers, psychologists, nurses, medical doctors, and case managers, on Substance Use and Misuse in Older Adults.
