Event description

Description

85% of the housing we need by 2040 exists today, yet much of it is in need of energy, water, and safety retrofits. The principles for sustainability and resilience, while unique in their goals, share similar strategies that when intentionally blended produce symbiotic relationships, reciprocally advancing the other. This workshop will highlight resources for residential upgrades, and start a conversation on unlocking sustainability, resilience, and affordability dividends. This workshop is co-hosted by BayREN.

Lunch will be included in this workshop. Be sure to let us know of any food restrictions or preferences in your RSVP.

This workshop is one in a series focused on implementing resilience-building strategies locally. Future workshops in this series include:

  • Planning for an Uncertain Energy Future: Energy Assurance for Resilience and Sustainability - September 22, 2017
