Description

WHAT: Kick-off event to better coordinate our efforts to build resiliency and address the impacts of adverse experiences and toxic stress in Central Oregon

WHEN: 5:00-7:30pm; May 23rd

WHERE: The View Restaurant at Juniper Golf Course, Redmond

WHY: Chronic and severe stress profoundly affect health and development with harmful consequences throughout our communities. Many organizations are working to address this and we believe we can do more by working together.

SPEAKERS:

Dr. Sarah Enos Watamura. Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of Denver where she directs the Child Health & Development Lab and co-directs the Stress, Early Experience and Development (SEED) Research Center.

Stephanie Sundborg, Adjunct Research Associate for Trauma Informed Oregon - a collaboration between Oregon Health Authority and the Regional Research Institute at Portland State University.
