Laugh in the face of uncertainty with us in this fun workshop. You'll learn how improv can help you become more resilient and empathetic -- and less stressed as you navigate the unknown.

Workshop Instructors:

Funny Girls - Funny Girls is a program of the Harnisch Foundation, which has worked for over 20 years in support of advancing equality and inclusivity, with a focus on women and girls. Funny Girls most recently ran a highly regarded Ted Women workshop, along with workshops at Amy Poehler’s Smart Girls at the Party and Girl Scouts USA National Convention in 2017.

Jill Frutkin - Field Manager & Applied Improv Coach.

Jill is a seasoned educator with renown for creating and running a theatre arts program for students on the autism spectrum. Her expertise is in teaching improv-based classes that focus on furthering communication and presentation skills. She comes from a theatre (BFA, NYU) and education (MST, Pace) background and is excited to be part of the Funny Girls team.

Sara Ach - Program Manager & Applied Improv Coach.

Sara is an experienced improviser, coming up through Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) and performing in shows around LA with her improv team for several years. Recently relocated to NYC, she is combining her passion for education, equality, and female empowerment with her love of improv and is excited to support our instructors and build out the Funny Girls program.
