Come learn about nourishing, traditional foods, and receive practical guidance for implementing a nutrient-dense diet!

Our full-day conference will include speakers on the following topics:

  • Introduction to Weston A. Price principles of nutrient-dense foods
  • History and Importance of Cod Liver Oil -- by Dave Wetzel of Green Pasture, maker of fermented cod liver oil
  • Farmers Panel discussing sustainable food production, connecting with customers, and building relationships with your local farmers

A full afternoon of practical workshops will include expert presentations teaching how to make nutrient-dense foods:

  • Bone broth
  • Cultured dairy (yogurt, kefir)
  • Preparations of grains
  • Vegetable ferments (sauerkraut, ginger carrots, beets)
  • Cultured beverages (water kefir, kombucha)
  • and more!

The schedule for the day will go as follows:

8-8:30am -- Registration
8:30-9:30am -- Dietary principles of Weston A. Price (Celeste Skousen, chapter leader)
9:30-11:00am -- History and Importance of Cod Liver Oil (Dave Wetzel, owner of Green Pasture Products)
11:00-12:00 -- Farmers panel (Various local farmers participating in discussion)

12:00-1:00 -- Lunch (Bring your own, or purchase from available vendors. Details TBA.)

1:00-1:45 -- Workshop 1
2:00-2:45 -- Workshop 2
3:00-4:00 -- Break
4:00-4:45 -- Workshop 3
4:45-5:00 -- Wrap-up; Raffle drawing; vendors available til 5:30
