About this Event

As part of National Inclusion Week (23 – 29 September 2019), Holland America Line and Carnival UK offer a rare opportunity to welcome senior leaders from the region’s most significant businesses for an evening of topical discussion, debate and thought leadership on creating organisational cultures that foster belonging and inclusion.

As a former human resources executive, Orlando Ashford knows something about shaping organizational culture and performance. Since joining Holland America Line as their president in 2014, the company has embraced a major shift toward authentic leadership and communication. Orlando will be delivering a keynote presentation on "Winning Culture - How authentic leadership drives better guest experience."

Toby helps companies be more inclusive of the diverse UK talent pool and breadth of human experience by reengineering business processes and addressing cultural barriers.Before establishing his own D&I practice Toby served as D&I Manager for Deloitte and the BBC. Toby is also a qualified Corporate & Executive Coach and NLP Practitioner with Neuroscience.Toby has over a decade of management experience on international projects working with the BBC, Accenture, British Airways, Cerner, Vodafone, Microsoft, BT and Ofcom.

Julie Feest, CEO – The Engineering Development Trust

An established leader with impeccable track-record of achievement both working in and supporting the Digital and STEM industry. Consistently exceeds on revenue targets, transforms business and builds excellent, sustainable relationships with clients at all levels of seniority. Julie specialises in relationship management, business development and transformation, and collaborates effectively across multiple industries. After working in multi-million pound sales & business development roles in the Digital Industry, she moved to critical roles translating her skills into not-for-profit and charity organisations, building the diverse talent pipeline of the future.

Aryana Neo, Business Engagement Manger - Go! Southampton; Broadcast Producer & Reporter - BBC; Radio Presenter - Unity 101; Director & Founder - Asian Women Business Network (AWBN)

Having begun a career in business banking supporting SMEs in Hampshire and West Sussex achieve their ambitions, Aryana now works with Go! Southampton as their Business Engagement Manager, identifying, building and managing partnership opportunities. She is the director and founder of Asian Women Business Network (AWBN) in Southampton, an initiative designed to support corporate and professional Asian women. And if that weren’t enough, Aryana is also a BBC Solent producer and community radio presenter (Unity 101), committed bringing diversity to voices on air.
