The success of any organization depends upon its employees and other team members to support its goals and vision. Senior financial executives in Minneapolis and across the country know that recruiting, developing, and retaining top tier talent remains their biggest challenge. As CFOs increasingly work cross-functionally, they see this is also true within their finance accounting organizations and throughout all departments within their companies. Adding to this challenge is the increased diversity of the work force. CFOs must consider the needs of multiple generations of works, from Millennials to Boomers, as well as those working across the globe. This program will help business leaders navigate those challenges.
Angela Lurie, Robert Half
Angela Lurie is a senior regional vice president of Robert Half in the Twin Cities. In this role, she oversees multiple lines of business, including Accountemps, OfficeTeam, Robert Half Finance & Accounting and Robert Half Management Resources in Iowa, Minnesota and Nebraska. Her teams are currently ranked the number one and number two sales teams in the world, company-wide.
Angela has more than 17 years of experience in the staffing industry. She began her career with Robert Half Management Resources in Minneapolis as a client service director. Since that time, Angela has held numerous leadership roles, including division director and regional vice president. Prior to her staffing career, Angela was a senior auditor at KPMG LLP. She is a board member of the Minneapolis chapter of Financial Executives Institute (FEI). Angela has also received multiple internal awards for her leadership, dedication, outstanding efforts and achievements. Angela is a certified public accountant (CPA). She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and her MBA from the University of Minnesota.
Stephen Chipman, CEO, Radius
Stephen M. Chipman, Radius CEO, is a recognized global leader and experienced CEO with a lifelong passion for international business and successful global growth.
Before joining Radius, Stephen capped his 34 year career with Grant Thornton as CEO in the U.S. where he led the $1.5 billion firm through the post financial crisis period, returning it to growth with double-digit increases in revenue and profitability. Prior to this role, Stephen was CEO of Grant Thornton in China where he headed the restructuring of start-up operations to create a national firm with more than 2,500 people in 17 offices.
Todd Ellingson, CFO, Logic Information Systems
Todd Ellingson is a highly-regarded Finance Leader who partners with Logic leadership as a trusted advisor to formulate and implement business strategies, financial and business processes and controls that build corporate value and drive organizational growth.
With over 20 years of financial expertise, he possesses a natural talent for engaging C-suite, board of directors and employees across the organization to build consensus toward a common vision, goal and direction. Noted for raising the bar of team and financial performance through prioritizing, Todd influences and collaborates to drive positive change.
Coralea Clinne, VP of HR, Stratasys
Coralea Cline is known for pride and commitment in all endeavors which has separated her from others. She has learned the value that pride and commitment brings in work and life in general. This lesson has allowed her to compete as an athlete where winning and passion must be coequals. As an HR Professional whose career spans 16+ years, she approaches every issue, concern or initiative with an understanding of the great commitment employees bring to elevating and sustaining an enterprise. She holds fervent in her belief that, “diversity can and should represent excellence.” Thus, her primary focus is delivering the best to drive business growth and development. Her background and focus on community involvement has led her to a number of volunteer opportunities and community leadership roles. Coralea received her Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources Development, Rhetoric and African-American studies; and a Masters in Human Resources and Industrial Relations at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and is currently the Vice President Human Resources at Stratasys.
Randy Ross, CHRO, Midwest Dental
Randall Ross is a Human Resources leader with experience leading change in companies tackling significant growth and transformation. Across his career, Randy has built a leadership record of creating and executing individual and organizational programs to sustain change, grow leaders and deliver results. With early career experiences at large companies, he has also held leadership roles in mid-size companies calling for a combination of both strategic planning and practical, hands-on execution.
Randy has fifteen years of executive experience in Medical Device, Retail, Service, Technology, Manufacturing and Health Care in the Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and Africa.He has served as an HR executive and CHRO at several companies including Target, Best Buy, American Medical Systems, and G&K Services. Currently he is CHRO at Midwest Dental. Randy is a licensed psychologist in the state of Minnesota and has worked as an adjunct professor at several universities.
