Building Generational Wealth: The Value of the Black Dollar Series - Part 1 "Budgeting 101"

About this Event

Building generational wealth does not happen overnight. It requires educating yourself, setting goals, creating a plan, executing your plan, making some adjustments along the way, and exercising discipline.

The ladies of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Psi Mu Zeta Chapter invite you to join us as our special guest speaker, Kelly Pratt, III, CPA, CISA, provides meaningful insight and actionable first steps to get you on the right track with Budgeting 101. Whether you are new to the concept of budgeting, or are looking for ways to improve your financial habits and/or credit score, this is a virtual event you do not want to miss.

Sponsored in partnership with our Zeta Youth Affiliates, Archonette Club, Part 1 of the series, Budgeting 101, is also a great opportunity for parents to attend along with their young adult, college, or high school age children.

The discussion will be centered on topics including:

  • Creating a Budget “Where do I start?”
  • Getting Out of Debt
  • Building an Emergency Fund
  • Boosting Your Income
  • Tracking Expenses
  • Setting Financial Goals
  • Credit Repair
  • Building Credit Score
  • Calculate Debt to Income Ratio

The event will be moderated by Bethany Woods, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Psi Mu Zeta Chapter's Social Action committee member and Z-HOPE Coordinator, and Khloe Stagg, Zeta Youth Affiliate, Archonette Club President.

Link to access event will be provided after registration is completed.
