Philadelphia Office of Emergency Management, Philadelphia Police Department Homeland Security and The Information Technology Disaster Resource Center present: “Building Disaster Resilient Communities” A Business Continuity Workshop.
This half-day event will help community organizations, small businesses, and non-profits understand the effects of disaster on communities, and outline the necessary actions to continue operations and help the whole community recover.
The workshop will take place in the Philadelphia Fire Academy Auditorium, 5200 Pennypack Street in Philadelphia, PA on Monday, May 13 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.

The Information Technology Disaster Resource Center (ITDRC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity comprised of volunteer IT Professionals from many disciplines who assist communities with technology continuity and recovery from disaster.
Our services are provided at no cost through a collaborative effort of corporate partners and service oriented volunteers from the technology community. Our team has responded to a number of major disasters including: Hurricanes Sandy, Isaac, and Irene; Tornadoes in Missouri, Alabama, Oklahoma, Indiana, and Kentucky, and Wildfires in Texas.
