Description

Contrary to what you might think, design is not decoration. Design is not an afterthought. Good design is a critical investment in strategic thinking around your community development activities.

On September 27th, we will host the Neighborhood Design Lab kickoff event: Building Community through Design. This workshop will introduce you to the value of the design process and what to expect when engaging the services of a designer.

After an initial presentation, participants will break into small working groups led by design experts to explore how they might leverage design to address some of the placemaking, marketing, branding and communication challenges they face.
