Building Community Around Your Film

Presented by Derek Kane-Meddock

All filmmakers want their work to be widely seen. But recognizing that your project has a specific audience is actually a crucial first step in building an active and engaged community around your film. This session will offer an introduction to the process, emphasizing practical advice for developing a network of advocates. We’ll explore how you can leverage existing connections, cultivate new partnerships, and use social media to invite participation and create a substantive coalition around your project.
