Dr. Larry Crenshaw, Ed.D.


Dr. Larry Crenshaw is a dedicated counselor and mental health advocate committed to helping individuals, families, and communities lead more balanced, fulfilling lives. With a Doctorate in Community Care and Counseling specializing in Marriage and Family Counseling, he emphasizes the importance of mental hygiene—the daily practice of caring for one’s emotional and psychological wellbeing.


Blending mindfulness, relational health, and practical goal-setting, Dr. Crenshaw empowers others to build resilience and pursue meaningful growth. His doctoral research, A Phenomenological Study of Social Justice Disparities as Described by African American Public Policy Makers, underscores his passion for equity and his belief that social justice and mental wellness are deeply interconnected.

Dr. Ana Sierra, Ph.D.


Dr. Ana Sierra is a distinguished mental health professional with nearly two decades of experience serving diverse populations across clinical, community, and international settings. She holds a Ph.D. in International Psychology with a specialization in Trauma Services, a Master’s in Clinical Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Latino/a Mental Health, and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Political Science.


A trauma-informed and culturally responsive clinician, Dr. Sierra specializes in complex mental health conditions and forensic immigration evaluations. She has led psychosocial programs supporting survivors of sexual violence throughout Latin America, including Guatemala, El Salvador, Bolivia, and the Dominican Republic.


Licensed in Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia, and Texas, Florida and recognized as a Subject Matter Expert by the D.C. Superior Court, Dr. Sierra is also co-founder of the Latina Healing Institute, a collective space dedicated to empowering Latina women. She hosts the Spanish-language podcast “Encuentros con la Dra. Ana Sierra,” and her insights have been featured on Telemundo44, El Tiempo Latino, El Imparcial, and Mundo Latino.
