Event description

Description

We are collaborating with Dr. Mumbi Seraki from Nairobi Kenya to discuss strategic ways to build bridges between African Americans and our brothers and sisters from Africa. For the past 400 years due to our enslavement by our oppressors, we have lost our connections to our roots, therefore, we have no actual history in terms of who our ancestors were on the continent. We continue to live and enslaved mentality because of our disconnection with our people. Time for us to unite as brothers and sisters.

Dr. Mumbi Seraki, has undergraduate degrees in International Business and Human Resources and a Ph.D. in African Women Studies. She worked for the United Nations for close to 7 years in Geneva, Switzerland before returning to Kenya to join the national broadcaster the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) for a popular TV show Afternoon Live for three years before moving to Nation FM, a national radio station, to host the popular breakfast show State of the Nation. Her life and career are committed to restoring the stolen identity of Africa and shining a spotlight on the mental and spiritual colonization that still oppresses her people on every continent.

Phillip Scott, has a bachelor degree in Theology. He built his company Advise Media Network to challenge the mainstream media's portrayal of African Americans. Advise Media Network calls out racism & white supremacy on a daily basis. Phillip feels we can't be free until we face white supremacy head on. TheAdviseShowTV channel on YouTube has garnered more than 330M views worldwide.
